“I came to Julie with long term digestion issues and a willingness to explore other ways of feeding my body and tapping into its innate wisdom. My sessions have given me a better understanding of how different foods and ways of preparing them can benefit me and her medicines have greatly assisted some underlying imbalances that I was unaware of. Her methods are simple, intuitive and don’t cost a fortune unlike many supplements and regimes I’ve tried I the past. Her knowledge and wisdom have helped me eat in a way that feels nourishing and in alignment with a deeper knowing that Ive been trying to access for some time. . My digestion has improved and I have a more holistic approach to food, eating seasonally and cleansing. I would thoroughly recommend Julie!

Dominic Gleeson Adv.Dip.Ayu Practitioner

"I began working with Dominic a year ago after being given a medical diagnosis for pericarditis. I was also suffering from a lot of heartburn, indigestion & gut issues. This left me very weak and low on energy to the point where I couldn't even walk for a few minutes without becoming fatigued. At the hospital I was given heavy anti-inflammatory medication, which didn't work, the led to steroids, which only made me feel worse as the months of taking them went on. After lots of scans & tests, I was also diagnosed with esophagitis (the cause of the heartburn) and diverticulitis, also high cholesterol.

After no improvement with my symptoms and losing faith in the medicine & treatment I was being given,, I discussed an alternative route with Dom and decided to give It a go. This involved a detailed consultation and plan, changing my diet, and many simple changes to my daily routine.

12 months down the line my medical tests came back completely normal. Cholesterol is 5.5, I don’t suffer from Heartburn any more, My digestive issues seem to be a lot better, I've been getting my fitness up and feeling a lot better all round.

Much of the advice he gave me Is now a part of my daily routine and I'm quite sure it has added many quality years to my life.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dominic @ BeWellByron and living an Ayurveda lifestyle to anyone.”

Dominic was born in London, UK.

After a few years as a professional photographer & dark room technician, Dominic then moved into the Music industry where we became a successful artist and music producer for over 25 years.

After some health issues bought on by decades in the business, Dominic ended up in hospital in London with burn out. After 2 weeks he discharged himself due to lack of faith in the health industry and went to visit a naturopath after a close friends recommendation. The success he had with this modality in helping him overcome his health issues led him on to study Naturopathy and after qualifying Dominic opened his own small practice in Brighton in the UK.

After the birth of his son a couple of years later, Dominic moved to Australia and studied to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Dominic works with many local and overseas clients and he specialises in helping with addiction and inflammatory issues through Ayurvedic cleanses & pain relief using RITM SCENAR biofeedback technology and VR Tesla healing devices.

REVIEWS

“Julie held a warming and kind space for me, making me feel very comfortable through the session. She formulated a specific meal plan for me to follow to help re-balance my body. She listened and offered simple lifestyle changes that I now see as a treat to have in my life - belly massages and garden time to name my favourite two. Julie catered to me individually, and provided guidance on ways I can live a more simple, balanced and healthier life."

“I really needed someone to guide me back to balance! To remind me to simplify. To let go of a few things. To bring back in more sweetness to balance the heat, 🧡 and regulate my Agni (digestive fire). I already had a number of Ayurvedic practices in my routine, but it is so helpful to have someone so knowledgeable guide you through a re-set when you need one. Feeling thankful, inspired and more prepared to be continuing on this new path with your guidance Julie @byronfooddoctor thank you x How empowering it is to remember that everyone holds the power to heal themselves through mindful choice of food, drink, herbs, sleep, practices etc.
